Mom and Dad's motorcycle

Last night Gary and I went on a ride on Mom and Dad's new motorcycle. Honda Venture I believe. It's a nice ride. Mom and Dad have all the necessary leathers too. Which was good because it was a pretty cold evening. I really like the head set thing, that would be nice on Gary's bike. After we got it working we didn't have any problems with the passenger headset which is said to short out at times. Then of course Olea had to ride. Her little body topped of with the helmet was too cute. My little alien. I love that she has an adventurous spirit.Danny was gone last night picking up the kids. Gary and Dad worked on the house Danny will be moving into. Mom and I had fun chilling, eating chocolate and knitting and crocheting. While Zurich and Olea played and Ross wandered or sorted cards.

Earlier in the day we went swimming at the heated mineral pool that Olea kept talking about with the log in the water. (That sounded wrong to me the first time she talked to me about it). Zurich had a lay over fever from shots and hadn't slept well for his naps or the night before so he was cranky about being in the water, away from mom, free floating in a floater, more than two inches from a body, etc. But he still tolerated it pretty well, and had some water time. Gary and Dad enjoyed dumping each other off the log most of the time. Olea found a little friend (hard to do since there were a total of 4 other people in the pool while we were there), a girl about her age who she played in the kid area with for a while. Blurry but kinda a fun picture anyway.Olea even got on the log, for a bit. She definitely did better, staying on it longer than Gary or George.... she had plenty of stabilizers though. :)

Uncle Ross

Uncle Ross has been staying with Mom and Dad, Olea has thought this kinda a novelty. Grandma Park is in Washington for her brother's funeral. This morning Olea and Ross were left at the breakfast table.
Olea=Why do you always say kay?
Ross=kay
Olea=can you stop it? kay? kay kay kay?
Coretta=Olea don't harass Uncle Ross!

Mom had just told me that he can get pretty upset and I didn't want to have to deal with that because of Olea being a little snot. I can just imagine how a 4 year old taunting him would make him upset.

Mason's 6th Birthday

I can't believe how the time flies! Mason is going to be turning 6 on Thursday and is going to be having his first kids party with his classmates from school. He is so excited to be getting to have a party that he can invite his school friends to. He has turned into such a big boy. He loves school, and is such a big help to Jose and I. He can't seem to get his hands on enough educational material which is a good thing I guess. My mom and I bought him a beginner math book that teaches him the beginning steps on how to do math and he almost had the book finished the first night!!

I will get some pictures posted after his party.

time with Olea

I am getting to take Olea back to Twin Falls to Play with use for a week.

Winter's A Comin'

This is a test. This is only a test. Wishing I was skiing. Here's a picture of me from 2002 while I was at BYU Idaho.

When Gary works from Home

Lately this is what ends up happening when Gary works from home half day on Fridays.

Zurich could only stand being in the stroller so long. After a while we got him out and he would push his own stroller around, or trace his finger in the crack in the road. Gary really likes to shoot from VERY far away. I don't, I can't tell where my arrows go. I like to be able to actually aim with some reference. We have really enjoyed borrowing Mom and Dad's bows. Thanks! What are we going to do when Winter uses up our salt pile safety backdrop? Olea has her bike helmet on because she alternately rides her bike, shoots or plays with Zurich. I was surprised by the fact that we were out for over 2 hours. The time goes by quickly.
Now that we've experienced and gotten used to having Gary home Fridays, we would have some serious adjustments were that to be changed.

Calendar Time and Family Blog

Danny suggested we set up a Family Blog to keep updated on each other. I have sent invites to each so we all can create entries.

So hope you all liked last years calendar collage... it looks like lack of pics and time is headed that way again. Still though I do need pictures. I know it's a busy time for all so I just need at least 3-6 pictures of each person combined pictures are nice too.
